local bike haunts are captn jaspers on the barbican, (only a few minutes from city centre)best place for a cuppa and burger and if weathers good usually a nice collection of bikes, or theres a fairly recently opend george white dealership with a cafe and store etc not to far out.

as a serious thing, often Alan Jefferys tuning place (www.enginetuner.co.uk) (just off the Marsh Mills exit on the A38) runs rolling road days, and they might have one going. Worth dropping in for a look anyway. smile
