Anyone in Broadmead on Saturday afternoon cannot fail to have spotted the hundreds of people dressed / made up as zombies. While a few people in fancy dress is usual for Halloween, there were loads, when I said hundreds I wasn't exaggerating - anyone know what this was all about?

A few weeks ago I heard a song on the radio that was apparently the theme for national zombie day - The DJ said they were trying to organise a load of people to do as those you saw.

I think it's called the Bristol Zombie Walk or something, it's an annual event. All good fun! I was a little disappointed to see the amount of fake blood smeared over bus shelters/ATMs etc in town though- Lowers my opinion of it somewhat.

Indeed, its a lot of fun every year but there is always a load of people wanting to turn it into a march against "mindless spending"/"consumerism" which puts a slant on it that ruins it.

Sir,

you are a star!

You have inadvertently drawn ones attention to the fact that the purveyor of high quality gentlemans establishments is opening in the fair city of Bristol!

Found This amusing little note whilst looking for details

Inadvertently?

Yesterday at base a chap inspecting our accident book noted a complete lack of entries. He asked why there was nothing in it. I replied "We don't have accidents, we only have deliberates..."

Great document that too, if she wants an innuendo...
