evo triangle trip

I am really interested in taking a drive up to the evo triangle as have heard so much about it.does anyone from the south go up.would anyone be willing to head up their before it gets to cold and show me the ropes?Maybe a few people might fancy it,we could make a day of it.

yea its a triangle of roads in mid wales that top gear,evo magazine and so on use for there tests and shoots.really wana go try it out.interested?

Something we do with the 350z forum every year in May. Great if you get nice weather, although the logistics of over 50 zeds being there at once is fun!

awesome,maybe i have left it too late for this year as im sure ice and snow will start appearing on the roads up that way soon

If you fancy coming further south there are some great roads down here, A4069(which T.G and Evo use on a regular basis)
the A4059 is another road that T.G have used as well (The Lancia feature that they did was all filmed there)

They are brilliant roads. Love it up there.

I have an uncle in Brecon, so often make the effort to go up there. Never disapointed. IMO they are far better roads than the evo triange.

The above roads are amazing, especially the A4069 around the hairpin and upwards!

Im guessing this would be a weekend run? Ive got a couple weeks off soon and it would be much quieter mid week, plus id need some space to build up speed to keep ahead of all your much more powerful cars lol.

i regularly go to abergavenny.takes me about an hour n a bit to get their.but i would be up for a drive soonish

Sounds like a plan for the sun Pete the 28th Nov is my monthly Brekkie meet so could get a good few cars together (we usually do a run up the mountains)just watch out for the mental sheep

You need to get there very very early on a Sunday to have a great drive on the triangle.
