Myself and Mrs Saleen want to watch this, I guess it would be wise to arrive early and find a spot and not move? anyone got any 'good' spots to view or even a good place to park?

Thanks

Where are you coming from?
North of B/water, come off at J23. Best to park on the motorway bridge & walk in to the town. The start is this end & you can get away fairly easily.
Get off at 24 if coming from the south & head for the town center. Parking in safeway.
If you are not in any hurry to get away, you must watch the squibbing outside the town hall (usually about 11:30). You wont forget that in a hurry!
The roads will be choked afterwards so best to park on the outskirts if you can.
Cheers
Rob

Cheers for that, am coming across from Warminster so will be passing by Street on the A39, so parking on the m/way bridge is do-able, how far is the 'walk in to town'?

Go earlier, get a parking space in town and stay for the squibbing.

Welcome to park at my gaff if that's any help, only 10 minute walk into town centre for the squibbing, and no access problems if you follow the signs for Minehead from jct 23.
Let me know asap as we have friends parking too, so will have to shuffle the cars to make room for you.
