Wasn't going to go to this one, bit too far to be fun for me but what the hell. As Smashy would say to Nicey " It's charity mate"!

3 hour drive might sound good to you but I'll be very uncomfortable after that time!!!

9.30 sounds about right to me. Exeter Services top car park?

Thats 3 hours after getting to Cheddar ! I'm not quite sure where we would go for that long a trip. I am also hoping there will be other cars meeting at Cheddar that arn't from PH ?? I think there may be an american car contingent, or did i dream that

Just hope the weather holds out

No, nothing serious. Purely financial. Cheque I was promised at the beginning of September arrived this week but won't clear until Tuesday!

Can anyone coming to Cheddar please print the following and display on the dashboard? Keeps us nice and separate from any plebs that might be driving stupidly:

Sorry people, looks like I'm going to have to pull out of this. Wife has just been urgently called to the hospital where her Father, after having his first douse of chemo last week, then picking up an infection, is not well at all.

We are all keeping our fingers crossed, but as I'm sure you all can understand, if its not good news, the run and meet etc will be the last thing on our minds. The old sod was really looking forward to meeting the children and showing off his Bentley.

If we can't make it, make sure you all have a great time. Take care

I take it you're not going to make it either then. Will your car be ok for the Haynes meet next week? If not, let me know if you want to rag my BMW round the roads/track by PM.

A bit more notice and I might have. Not enough time to go on a diet now, as that's the only chance I've got to beat you now that you've got an extra 20% horsepower!
