Des Coles (DJC Welding) over at Warmley. Did lots on my E34 and is always busy.

Top chap.

He is indeed a top bloke but he's seriously ill at the moment and should be resting. :-(

I had wondered as I pass his place most days and noticed the gates shut rather a lot frown

Hope he recovers fully.

Des has been working the last few days this week. Is he meant to be resting still?

He told me two weeks ago that he was told to rest for another three weeks.

I was only talking about Des with James @ Redish Motorsport last week. He had welded a number of corners onto my old BMW. We assumed he had probably retired years ago!

Gah! James recommended DJC to me too, and I've been meaning to get on and go over to see him.

Too late now, so I'd also be interested to hear recommendations for a good chassis welder.
