Tyre fitter/retailer near Bradley Stoke
Discussion
Afternoon all,
I've recently bought a Fabia vRS and one of the tyres is nearing the legal limit. I've had a quick check of prices online and found that the usual (Camskill, Blackcircles) have fairly good prices. However, I'm pretty new to the area and therefore haven't had to use a garage yet.
I'm looking for a decent place that will either fit tyres purchased online, or a local independent that can do a good deal and basically match online prices (including fitting). My best option so far is Kwik-Fit on Gloucester Road, but I'm hesistant after reading stories about damaged alloys etc. If the general concensus is that this branch is decent, then I may end up going there.
Thanks,
Tom

Not near Bradley Stoke but ProTyre and Cabot Tyres are the two cheapest places I've found in Bristol for tyres.
There is a garage in Patchway between the Patchway roundabout and Cribbs who will fit tyres you supply yourself, sorry don't know the name but it's on the corner on the left by the traffic lights.

The green place I was on about, Tyremart. It's not necessarily a recommendation mind, it's just they didn't mind when I rocked up with a couple of tyres and asked if they could stick them on.
They also replaced an exhaust on my MX5 with one I bought from MX5Parts for 30 quid - and were quite enthusiastic about the sound it made when I fired it up!
I'm going back a couple of years though.

I use these chaps http://www.britanniatyres.co.uk/ always been a very good price and quick.
Again, it was a couple of years ago, but when I lived in Gifford I used to use the tyre place off gipsy patch lane. It's hidden away on the right just after the railway bridge (going away from Parkway).
They were competitive and did a good job.
These are the chaps...

Cabot tyres are cheap, but found able tyres are sometimes able to beat them. There is a garage in Patchway between the Patchway roundabout and Cribbs who will fit tyres you supply yourself, sorry don't know the name but it's on the corner on the left by the traffic lights.

I used these very chaps a couple of months ago; they were the only company I could find in or near Bristol who had Eagle F1 Asymmetrics in the size I needed. Price was good and the service was great! They were competitive and did a good job.
