Im thinking about getting rid of the stripes on the asbo and having the alloys powder coated in black. So can someone please photoshop this picture of the asbo with the following?? Ill buy beer for anyone that can help. lol.

1 picture with no stripes and black alloys

Thanks in advance. biggrin

Remove stickers- maybe a small red pinstripe along the swage line with a red ST logo breaking it up.

Leave the wheels as they are & get some brake dust on them.
Nothing beats dirty alloys- looks like it's taken a thrashing!

I like the idea of the pin stripe......it'd be more subtle than the current stripes i have.

Ill probably go for the powder coating though.......found a place in swindon that'll refurb and powder coat the alloys for £345 in gloss black. biggrin

Powdercoat the alloys, leave the original stripe, have a large red PHead's smilie over rear quarter/tailgate.

I personally like it how it is, and think it looks plain without the stripes on the side.

Leave it pure white, how about anthracite wheels instead of black?

The only reason i wanted black was because that is now the standard colour of new ST-3 alloy wheels. So was trying to go for the OEM look again.

Fair enough, I find the stark black white contrast a bit too stark. The slightly more subtle tone of a metallic grey just looks a bit less in your face.

If you were to go for the black rims, perhaps black ST stripes would accompany it well?

Or if you want to make it look totally mental dayglo orange wheels biggrin

Sadly, I don't have Photoshop or the ability to use it, infact a Giraffe has better ability at figure skating.

There is a Fiesta ST in the Bournemouth area which has this colour combination (white/ orange) and I thought it worked well.

Now I know most people will slate me for this, but you could try a photoshop of a time attack colour scheme on the wheels? Black with red lip... Or, even better... White wheels with a baby blue lip, and replace your red stripes for baby blue! It would look awesome!!!
