It's basically a Boxster without the ability to take the roof down. What is the point in restricting yourself in such a way, just get a Boxster S?

Your fave film of all time is Top Gun, might as well go the whole hog!

(if you are going to pick it up to purchase it would you like me to come with you?)

Serious alternate suggestions

Hmmmmmm 2 1/2 times more rigid than a Boxster, and I could open the windows when the sun is out !

Looked at some Z4M's , but for some reason I feel loured towards the Porsche

Personally, for 29k I would want something more visually exciting, but depends what you want from a car.You would have to wear a pink shirt aswell (Crazycraig will tell you where you can purchase one from if you haven't got one already wink )

yes exactly what I was thinking- apart from the pink shirt.

I love the looks of the Cayman, but it's the type of car my brother-in-law would buy (just to pose in)

My money would go on something like this:

You will never notice the rigidity difference on the road and on the track it's barely noticeable.
Both are great cars and you can really throw them around, it's just down to which one you personally like best.

I think the Cayman is much better looking than the Boxster. IMO, of course.

Do it.

If you have your heart set on a Cayman S, do you really want a silver one, or is it just because that one is local and convenient?

It is probably many things that have attracted me towards the cayman s, the ride and handling were fantastic and the hard top is far more secure if I were to take car to work regularly

hmmmm. If a good deal can be truck!!! Maybe just maybe.

What! You got 2 1/2 times more rigid over a Cayman eek Do you suffer from this problem regularly?

I guess me taking you out in the Boxster the other night put you off? If you'd consider 4 seats that VXR8 above does look nice lick but then again, you are a badge snob......oh and Welsh. hehe

Thanks again for the beer. beer

Boxster/Cayman won't help when you get stuck in a muddy field.

Perhaps a rig like this would suit Sir better.

why is the interior of the Caymen so horrible?

i like the look of the car but i think i would start suffering depression if i had to look at that dash on a daily basis.

have you taken the Caymen and Z4M on test drives?

Ry

Little bit more info needed like budget for running costs? and will you use it as an everyday car?

When I bought my old 987S Porsche took me on a track day at Kemble to persuade me to buy one. You
could try and get the same out of them then at least you get to drive it a bit harder than you can on a normal
test drive?
