A couple of us are looking at doing a green lane weekend in may, Does anyone know if salisbury plain is any good on a crosser and a quad, if so Where is the best place to start.

Best to get yourself an OS map and to follow the approved routes. Somewhile back I took a teenage son there on a crosser and it was not long before we were intercepted by an Army bod with threats to take it off us! In fairness to all users it pays to follow the rules, it's not as if there is not room for all interests to co-exist!

Just follow the rules that are posted on signposts and avoid red flag areas.

Any motorcycle (or quad) used on Salisbury Plain must be road legal, and as already mentioned get a map!

they are road legal, thanks for the help. is there a good selection of areas to go on.
