Sunday April 25th Bradford on Avon - Marocs
Discussion
Jem Marsh co-founder of Marcos Cars celebrated his 80th Birthday last week and there will be a 3 week long exhibition of Marcos history in the sleepy village of Bradford on Avon Museum starting Sunday April 25th.
On Sunday April 25th Jem and Chris Marsh (LM and British GT driver, Farbio and now Ginetta involvement, ) family and friends will be attending the opening of the exhibition along with 50 plus Marcos Cars parked in the village.
Other Marcos friends and drivers have been invited, but if you have been missed please just turn up!

Evening. What time will events be running from/until please? I have guests leaving around lunchtime on Sunday, but would love to come and see!
If I cannot make it, what exhibits will the museum have over the next 3 weeks? Will there be many vehicles or any more gatherings?
Thanks, Andy

Hi Andy,
As the forecast is for a good sunny weekend I can not imagine anyone leaving too early on Sunday afternoon but I am not sure what time the Museum will close.
The Museum exhibition will not feature any actual cars as its only a small place, but I have not seen the exhibition as yet!
The exhibition runs from 24th April to 13th May inclusive.
I believe the exhibition will be about the "Early days" when Marcos were built in Bradford on Avon, including the ultimate Marcos XP.

Jem Marsh will be giving a talk at 7.30 pm on Thursday May 6th in the Library with tickets available on the door at £5.00

Cheers Paul. Shame you couldn't make it, but you may have been sad to see the cars after the rain had fallen and dried to leave droplet marks! See you soon
I'd have been twitching badly enough if my car had dried water marks on it, let alone a whole car park full - total OCD breakdown Look forward to catching up with you at another Pistonheads meet down the line.
Great Pictures and see you got me driving past (red car). Didn't make the list for the library car park so was over in Victory field and had great fun driving one of the film crew around so they could get some moving shots! BTW it is an LM400 (not a Mantara), The yellow and Grey LM500's were the first two wide bodied cars Marcos made and feature in all the brochures, mine is the first LM400 which came a few cars later.

Aaargh! Apologies for the mis-identification! Most disappointed in myself I shall rectify the main site as soon as practical!Edited by Jack LM on Friday 30th April 22:42
I was just walking up towards Victory Field as you went past Lucked into the shot a little bit, but turned out OK!
Edit: Gallery updated! Looking at the side scoops now I canont believe I labelled it a Mantara!
