Help choosing new car please. (take 2)
Discussion
I'm looking for peoples opinions on what car they would get next so that I don't go and buy something only to later go "bugger I wish I'd got one of those", the budget is 15k although for something really special I may push the boat out and get finance/save up for a bit longer in the 20k area.
It will be used only as a second car so it doesn't need to be comfortable. The one requirement is that its great fun to drive.
So what would you buy?

Spend a bit more and get a Z4 Coupe. I'd pick 3.0si (obviously) as it's quick enough for you, looks fantastic, rare, and cheap to service/tax/insure when compared to the M.
That or if you're ready to move right now, there is a FANTASTIC 09 plate Elise S for only £19k on AutoTrader at the moment! I want someone to buy it before I do!

If only using as a second car on those sunny days... i'd get something like this..(but not this one as over budget)

buy this then save up another 6k and I will fit a supercharger for you.
this will give you a genuine 200 mph supercar 0-60 in under 4 seconds 0-120 in 12 seconds
with the handling to match theres a reason the c5 corvette won the gt1 class at le mans 5 years in a row
standard its still very capable 0-60 in 4.7 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph and it will cruise at 90 at 30 mpg I genuinly cant think of a better "blue collar supercar" for your cash
Oh and you can import one from the states for around 11k
