"Motor sprint" 2010 at RAF portreath ?

Does anyone know if there will be a "motor sprint" at RAF Portreath this year ?

Yes, I believe it is invite only though through the Motor cycle club who run the event.

Bit vague on whats happening, link to thread asking the same on First & Last MCC website below; this club is usually involved in setting up & marshalling the event.

South Hams Motor Club, 14/15th August. No more details than that at present that I can find.

That's probably a twisty sprint (like a hillclimb but without a hill) rather than the 'drag race' event. I think these have continued on the service roads despite the 'runway' event not happening for the last couple of years.

Would quite like another drag event as I've got something suitable at the moment.
