Hi

Any one had any experience of the above in/around the Cirencester area?

Failing that any suitable suggestions? I have a couple of nice stone chips on my lower valance which may be worth looking at

I tried to get Chips Away to do some work for me (I live near Chippenham, the guy was based in Swindon) and he just wasn't interested - "Too far mate" irked

Depending on the chip size I would try this stuff;

Worked a treat on mine.

I normally do that kind of stuff myself, Oblio.

Touch it in with a touch up brush, priming and rust removing in advance if needed, allow to try and then blend back in with some 2000 grit wet and dry and the polish and wax.
In my experience some SMART repairs doesn't really stand up very well under close scrutiny and it is ideal for a car you might be thinking of selling on but not really good enough for a long term "keeper"

Thanks all thumbup

Spudgun - I am a bit wary about going at my P&J with wet and dry and the whole shooting match. I have done it before but with varied results.

LL - tell me more about this Yank stuff, if you could?
Do you have any before/after photos? Is it as easy as they make out on their website? Did you buy it direct from the US or from a British agent?

cheers again

I hope we're talking about the daily runner(s).
I have no idea whether chipsaway are any good but I'd take your proper motor to someone who knows about these things.

Hi Mate,

You have to get it from the US and it is very easy to use.
All I did was polish the car to remove old wax/dirt then follow their very easy instruction.
I have put a couple of pics from when I did mine.
