Anyone recommend a recovery co Padstow to Herts?

It would seem that the offside drive shaft has eaten its splines leaving me with no drive in my ahem Alhambra. Ordinarily this wouldn't be too bad but we are in Padstow on holiday, 300 miles from home. It seems its a fairly common problem due to lack of grease on the splines in the factory.

I would rather get it fixed at home than here in Cornwall as its a diy job to change and I just need to source reasonably priced parts, which should be fun.

My breakdown policy will reimburse me the cost of recovery to Hertfordshire, and I plan to hire a car to get home so I need to find a company that will shift the car for me.

Are any of you locals able to recommend anyone to transport it for me. I might be prepared to have it repaired here in Padstow/Wadebridge but I need to know a decent local garage who won't rip me off, any recommendations highly appreciated.

I've got a recovery truck, but would depend when you want it doing.
Weekends are best for me.

You should be able to source used from either Duckworths car spares Truro or Combellacks at Roche
Or GSF have branches around here
Re Recovery I may be able to do it at reasonable cost as have an outbound space on trailer if I can tye it in with a collection on return leg
