As above really.
I need to move a few items eg three beds/tv/fridge and bits and bobs from my fiances house to my flat.
Moneys tight and its looking like itd cost £50 from M&s/M4 van rental.
I was just wondering if anybody could kindly lend me a transit size vehicle.
My insurance would cover me third party on your vehicle.
Thanks for reading.

If you can wait until next week I can ask a friend of mine if he's got his Transit back on the road. He'll drive if you pay him a few beers, and if you need more seats I'll tag along as well.

Following a very similar conversation that I had on here a few months back, check out your insurance.... mine covered me third party on any other cars only... not vans.

I called the insurance company to check and they confirmed that "other vehicle" insurance doesn't cover commercial vehicles (on their policies at least)

Better to be safe than sorry.

I have to agree with the Majority , A Massive risk, most folk who own a Van possibly rely on it to earn a living, wrap it around a post then no wages etc ,etc.

Best option by far is the normal Van rental Companies
