Does anybody know of or partake in off roading down this neck of the woods, South Devon preferably.

I've recently bought a Toyota HiLux Surf to replace my camper and company car and I'd like to have a crack to see how good it is off road. Only limited experience at that sort of thing though so I want to make sure that there is a rescue winch if required!!

Dunno where you are but there is a track in the woods by Newton Abbot Trago Mills by the paintball place, that the local LR club use sometimes. There are some quite good sections when it is muddy. Not sure how you go about arranging to use it though?

I believe alot of the green lanes have been down graded to bridle ways now. I sold my 4x4 a few years ago so haven't been out for a long time frown

I know some of my mates still use the pay and play sites. Could be worth having a google search for some in your area, they're well run and if you do get stuck you know there are other people around to help get you out

Might be worth getting in touch with the Land Rover Experience place in Honiton.

They organise green lane events in Devon, so must know the best routes. Always been helpful to me in the past (but then I had a Landy!).

Let me know how you get on as we'll be doing something similar once we've found our 110.
