Help! Roof stuck down!
Discussion
Hi All,
I need some help!
Went to put my roof down earlier for a hoon, and it's stuck half way....
My normal servicing people are closed for the weekend, and I've got no garage to hide the car in over the weekend before I can drop it off to them on Monday.
Bit awkward as the fuses and relays are in the boot, but I can't open the boot 'cos the roof cover panel is stuck half-way up! I've managed to check the first couple of fuses, but it's really hard to get inside to check the relays.
Has anybody got a garage I could 'borrow' in the Cheltenham area just for the weekend? Cash and/or beer or favours of any kind by return!
There goes my weekend!
Cheers!

I would say you can stick it in our hangar at the airport (Gloucester) but I'm home in Weston-s-Mare now so not really local.
Can you not do it manually, When I had my A4 cabrio a couple of times the thing just stopped halfway for no reason, no fuses blown or popped. In the handbook it had a tutorial of how to put it back up, basically, just pull it and to lock it in place there was a 'key' which slotted into the locking mechanism and when you turn it locks it and then it all worked fine again. Obviously that was a different car but hopefully you can do the same.

Cheers for that, managed to kind of get it sorted, roof is up, woo hoo!
Only problem now is the windows won't close, so popped out and got a car cover which will do until Monday.
Am now just preparing to grease up and bend over for the bill for putting it right....
I'll give you a free ride at your track day for the offer, thanks!
