Hi all, can anyone help me out with and good supercar hire copmanies in the SW?

I am getting married in September in Exeter and it would make my day if I could drive away from the church in some exotic beast!(not 'with' an exotic beast!!laugh)

I have been looking into it and the costs are HUGE! The cars on my wish list are a Morgan Aero8, Aston Martin Vanquish, AM Vantage AM DBS or TVR Sagaris.

Or, if anyone owns one of these beauties or knows anyone who does, I would only need the car for just over an hour, and the drive is only about 20 mins from the church, so if I could hire one from a fellow PH'r, I would pay good money for that experience & take EXTREMELY good care of the car, you could follow me to see that I was driving it sensibly.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

Many thanks..

Tony smile

I hired a Ferrari 430 Spider for my wedding at The Manor at Castle Combe. I used DreamCarHire....they were absolutely fantastic! Based about 20 miles from Swindon, but well worth the hire....plus they have a new Lambo in stock now smile

No they were great...we were driving past on the way to the airport on the Sunday, so allowed us to drop it off then. Kept the cost right down by not having to take it for 3 days!! My road car was even washed whilst I was tearing up the countryside in their car smile

Exeter has a plethora of fancy car dealers. The Ferrari and Aston showrooms are quite a good size.

Since business is probably less than brisk, they might be able to help out if you ask nicely...

Also, one of the scrappy's on Marsh Barton, not sure exactly where, normally has something tasty. He might look for a way to make a quick buck, I can ask around if you'd like.

(I'm based in London, but have lots of friends down there, and go back quite regularly.)

I adid send an emailto the fezza garage but they didn't reply, I was going to email the Grange, but couldn't find an email address for the Exeter branch.

If you could ask around I would be SO grateful!!

Not sure Russell would be too impressed, he might be a "scrappy", but trust me he isn't after a quick buck!!!! redcard

I tried this method, contacted all of the local garages....and despite even having my own trade insurance that would amply cover the £150k price tag....everyone told me to go forth!

a small thought for you, getting married is very stressful. Are you sure you want the stress of a wedding day and the stress of possibly losing £5k if you were to damage the car?

might be better looking for a supercar chauffer instead, would be safer and still arrive in style. A lot cheaper too :P

remember you need ot get from the wedding venue to where ever after the wedding, you wont want to be doing that in a supercar :P
