personally am a fan of flipflop but for me solid colour for standard body on the supra. Never was a big fan of the big kits on the mk4 but this car is calling out for a bit

No but I no the guy who did own the one in martock! Sadly he passed away and the car got sold stupidly cheap! I've had mine 2 years now!

I'm saving to change the wheels as there not what I'm into any more! The paint I've always liked and makes it showy but now I have the engine for that extra edge! Never been a fan of big body kits either

Almost all my wages for the past 14 months has gone into this car!!

The 3800 high stall really isn't as bad as you may think

That is a fantastic engine spec, top work there. But what the hell have you done to the aesthetics? Sort yourself out with some matt black paint and some slightly dished wheels and then you will be onto a cracker, at the moment it is very chav.

What does that mean? I guess it's an auto and the bite point (err sort of, you know what i mean) is set to 3800rpm? Meaning you need to rev it to 3800 to pull away?

its great for the drag strip, doubt it will be fun as a daily driver.

Yea that's kinda the gist of it, it does pull away and drive around at 30 fine, surprised me I thought it wud be a lot worse just sounds very revvy like you should change gear! Its like it doesn't fully engage into a gear until 3800 but with such a large turbo this would reduce the lag as it will slip to 3800 on full throttle!! Also was quicker than a manual on paper so it helped my decision smile

Yea I no the paint and wheels are not to every ones taste and tbh I'm not a fan of the wheels any more that's why I'm savin and looking to change. At the moment its between mania vortex r, jade r and the jade r in black

Personally I love the paint and really looks good when polished up and in light smile

Lee, FWIW I think your Supra looks fantastic. Paint and wheels look good to me. I can't understand peoples fascination with drab colours like matt black, dark greys and silver. What's wrong with something a bit bright and in your face?
I'm at the point where I'm toying with selling my Jag for something with a bit more attitude, and a Supra TT is on my list of possibles (although a Monaro is the top of my list and, bizarrely for me, I'm rather taken with Odyssey Grey and Black scratchchin ). I wouldn't entertain a silver one and a matt black one would be the most disgusting colour of all to me, suitable for rat bikes only IMHO. It's all down to personal taste. So make the car how you want it and sod everyone else, because you're the one spending the money and you're the one who has to like what he sees on the driveway.

Thanks mate smile

Personally I've gone off the wheels any way and where it was off the road so long the chrome has pitted and don't look good! Want to get a set of 19 inch wheels now!

I like the paint as its amazing watching the colour change in the light and is better than boring colours where every one has the same! Mine stands out from the croud which I like!

Monaro is a nice car but a lot of money for the power! That's why I went for the supra, not huge bucks to buy but some decent power and u can get a already done single turbo supra for around 15k with 550 bhp which I think is great value for money plus I think supras are a very good looking car! I bought mine after looking at a skyline and it just didn't do it for me!

I'm booked in for dyno and mapping session friday so hoping I'll get some really good figures smile
