Hello All,

Am looking to get a Celica GT4 in a couple of months time and am wondering if there are any recommended specialists for servicing in the Bath/Bristol/Swindon area?

Cheers!

Email James (Mr E on here) he had a fictitious one he kept in the garage that racked up a few bills!

Pfffffffft fictitious!! wink

Have responded on James behalf on thread in Jap Chat - I'm sure he'll be on later to add.

I've had my MR2 serviced at Fish brothers in Swindon for 9 years and they have been pretty good with the work done and cost.

In all honesty, they're not hard to service yourself, so any half-decent garage should manage one easily.

Good choice BTW, I loved mine!

+1, a car is a car to any decent mechanic.

However, if you're looking at specialist servicing (4WD,dyno time, fuelling issues), then probably somewhere like Powerstation http://www.powerstation.org.uk/

Used them about 6 years ago to tune my Series 1 RS. Did a pretty good job TBH.

I am OK for regular service items (fluids and brakes) but would struggle with worn suspension components etc that require more tooling than I have access to. The GT4 ST205 is reknowned for some weaknesses in this area particularly so I appreciate the tips smile

Powerstation labour charges OK?

Don't think they were particularly cheap, but I was paying for the specialist knowledge.
