Hi all,

out on a lads night in Bristol tmw night

Any suggestions for somewhere around the Watershed/Corn street area thats a tad upmarket?/general suggestions

Current plan is to end up in Oceana as that always eems to be a laugh (done it for the previous 2 years)

Wouldn't class Oceana as upmarket smile Haven't been out in Bristol much last few years, funnily enough I am out with hubby and friends tom night (for friends b'day!). Places seem to change a lot, The Arnolfini on the harbourside (Jury's hotel side) is a nice place.

That is correct!

The Waterfront is pretty much the biggest sthole in Bristol. Corn Street is of similar quality.

It seems the further down Park Street you go, the worse it gets.

Only going to Oceana for the 80's cheese club - seems to be a (slightly) better clientele than Reflex?

That is true... however you should start either on Whiteladies or the triangle/park st (Clifton villiage may be too upmarket for you lol)

That is true but then reflex is utterly horrible, the kind of place where 50 year old divorcees on their night out with the other cleaners start grinding against you in the dark.

Why not go over the water and down King St, not the kind of places you want to end up in later on (a bit quieter) but nicer than most of Corn St imo - Queen Square dining room, King William, The Apple etc
