Good cafes on Dartmoor

In the next couple weeks im planning on an early morning drive to Dartmoor and was hoping someone could recommend me somewhere to get a qaulity, full english breakfast.

And also can anyone recomened any quieter roads on the more with good visibility ahead.

Ally, depends on where you are going to get onto the Moor. If coming from the south the Dartmoor Diner on the A386 just north of Woolwell is very good. If joining from the north try the "greasy spoon" cafe at the service area on the A30 at Sourton -not 5 star presentation but the grub is brilliant. Enjoy the drive, regards

Excellent, cheers for that. The cafe at Woowell sounds like a winner as il probably just blast straight across on the B3212 from the east, plus I remember there being a very twisty road up near Yelverton up towards the Burrator reservoir
