Stan the Van - my Ford 1.8TD Connect is nearing service time rather rapidly. While I'm happy to do the basic stuff myself (regular oil & filter stuff etc) I have a lumpy idle which means faffing around with the EGR / fuel lines / pump / filter. I'd rather leave that to the boffins and pay them to do it right.

Does anyone have a good garage to recommend? I'm in North Bristol and ideally need work done on a Saturday as being off the road mid-week costs me too much. But I can be flexible and sensible about it to get the right person.

May I suggest you make a cup of tea in your chocolate tea pot and drink it by an open fire protected by a chocolate fire guard?

The local Ford monkeys didn't even think the van could be de-restricted. I am reluctant to let them near anything they could really cock up while charging silly money.
