Most of you know me as FourstarGTR's other half but I've just purchased a 1969 Austin Healey Sprite!!!

Not quite a matching shade of red to the Ultima obviously mine's a lot cooler wink

Most of the work needed is cosmetic so we should be on the road once MOT'd.

The good news is 'HE' can't drive it that often as his knees are up by his ears laugh

Does that mean Chris will have to leave the Ultima at home so he can film you arriving at meets? hehe

Yep! lots of factors in the equation the Brera is still on my want list but:
1. I can do basic maintainence on the Sprite myself
2. It's cheaper
3. I can look at pictures and go hey I restored that

And finally you just can't beat the good old Fun Factorclap

Rostyles. Unusual for them to be fitted to a Sprint as they are pressed steel and the Sprint came with alloys.

Hmm, I seem to have switched into "1970s BL car geek" mode nerd

I was obviously diddled out of my £90 that I paid for ithehe If I remember rightly the alloys did look
pretty similar?

THE SPRINT ALLOYS WERE VERY SIMILAR I bought a set for my dolomite for £100 but never fitted them as the wheelnuts were another £140. In those days I couldn't afford the extra and nobody would buy the wheels from me without the nuts doh!
