taxi/private hire from Bristol Airport?

I'm picking a new car up next week near cardiff and the only decent flights get me into Bristol next friday afternoon. The flights dropped in price yesterday by quite a bit so instead of bussing it (2hours 50mins as there's a 55 minute wait between changeover)we're planning a taxi. Can anyone recomend a taxi or private hire car firm to take myself and my old man to Pontypridd? Many thanks SC from John O'Groats (Just a wee trip home

)The airport has their own taxi group. They used to be called Airport Taxis, we used them a few times and were reliable enough and a fair price. I think a new group won the contract recently they are now called Checkers Cabs I think, not used these guys, hope they wouldn't me much different.
Re: private hire all I would say is get prices first, we phoned around a few yrs ago and the prices varied a lot, some were ridiculous, Airport taxis gave us the best price.
I used to be a real know it all re: cabs etc my Dad was a taxi driver for many years, don't have the contacts any more!
