>>> going to rally gb.
OK, now, let's compare...
Rally GB - actually Rally "Small part of Wales", stand out in the wet watching, £25+ to park/get in?, cup of tea £2 from the greasy burger van, only 25 cars , all money goes to Max Mosely
Supercar Saturday - actually IN the car, nice warm dry VIP suite (free), £5 to get in and rides from £20, 50 cars, home made hot food from the Tavern Cafe at Combe at sensible prices, all money goes to charity
Get off at Junction 17 Ally, you know it makes sense!
Take a look at our list of cars and stars here: www.stroke.org.uk/supercarsaturday
Great fun in a great cause, can't beat it. Everyone welcome.
Obviously a bit tongue in cheek to keep the topic promoting the event going but definitiely a great day out. Do keep checking back to the website as car list still getting better!

When you say a ride in the cars, do you mean they take it easy round the track, Or do they give it some?
Full speed There is display of loads 0f MG Fs, Zs and around 10 ZT V8s.
and the ZT 520 will be available for passinger rides
normally over suscribed by the MG boys, but if you book early.

Worth looking into, as whilst I appreciate this is a race track, people have got round issues such as insurance for the likes of Sporting Bears and the event Graham (V8S) organised earlier in the year in Dorset
Might be worth PM'ing Graham, and also posting in something like the "General Gassing" sub forum, as people came from all over for Garaham's event

Might try and get to this.
Do you just book on the day?
All done by volunteers so no card facilities for advance booking I'm afraid but most cars can run up to 16 rides in the day and we have around 50 cars. My Sinclair calculator tells me that's "Error stack overlow" rides available But my back of an envelope tells me 800 rides.
Car list is fabulous (and full, thanks to noise limits at Combe meaning only 6 cars on track if theyre noisy ones) and can be found at: www.stroke.org.uk/supercar saturday. Keep checking back as it's not quite up to date yet. Just booked a Noble M12 and Maserati 4200 for example.
The Dreadnought ZT V8 is just the 'shock and awe' of the racing world. Sideways on fat slicks tells you what it's all about.
Listen out for STAR FM competitions in the next 10 days to win tickets and ride vouchers worth £25 a shot. Live broadcasts by STAR FM and Bath FM on the day too.
Don't miss it!

That's STAR FM's Alice Crocker: http://www.starbristol.com/star-breakfast-644991
and Bath FM's Kate Constance: http://www.facebook.com/profile/pic.php?uid=AAAAAQ...
As you can see, Kate has just got out of the Dreadnought ZT520 and realised that what she thought was only a nervous ft has gone terribly, teribly wrong
[Kate, if you're reading this, remember it's all for charity! ]
