Any good roads to have a spirited drive down?

I've done the Princetown - Moreton Hampstead - Exeter one but it's a 40mph limit for the best of that road.

Any 'moor' to try- see what I did there?tumbleweed

hehe

Oh, & when is the next Plymouth Curry taking place?
I'm fully stocked up with Sudacrem nowhehe

Too much wildlife roaming in the road for my liking hit a sheep or worse a pony and you'll know it. The road from Watchet to Lynmouth/Lynton is quite nice for a spirited drive in parts, nows the time of year as there are'nt too many tourists about

Exemoor, Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor all beautiful places and all have some wonderful roads (except Bodmin Moor at Temple in the summer). Dont you just love living in the South West.

There is a bit of Dartmoor that I've been on where wildlife wasn't an issue I can't remember it but I remember I eventually ended up near Ashburton.

Yelverton to Princetown is pretty good, you just need to be extra observant for the sheep!
40 MPH limit though.

If its Dartmoor you'r after, Sourton Cross to Tavistock is a good one. Then onto Plymouth poss ither across the Tammar then head for Callington on to Launceston or up the A30 to Drumbridges(Bovey Tracy) hook a left and head for Moretonhampsted straight on to Widdon down or turn right in Moreton and head for Exeter. All can be great roads (Thompson lorries excluded!!!lol)

IIRC hasn't Dartmoor been a 40 limit for some years now? Was great before the limit was introduced though. Plenty of other good roads to get stuck into though1

I'm pretty sure that was the route for a certain early morning PH Raid a couple of years ago.

That was a good route- we did end up in Bude though looking for a Bacon sandwich...

Thanks for all of the suggestions BTW.

Anyone up for a drive & pint at the two bridges pub?

I would do, but my car goes in for work this weekend so possibly might not be able to.
