RoboCops Mondeo Detailed
Discussion
RoboCop asked me to detail his daily hack, this car had spent the last 8 years in London and had paint so rough
it felt like 250grit sandpaper
The car was also covered in scratches and chips.
Some before pics;
Used Bilberry on the wheels, Dodo Juice Supernatural Shampoo 2BM and Ph Neutral snow foam.
Finally got it smooth after 2 passes over the entire car with sonus green clay bar
Used scratch X on the worst of the scratches and then Dodo Juice Lime Prime on the rest of the car.
Followed by a coat Dodo Juice Light fantastic wax.
Also cleaned the interior leather with Swissvax leather clean and feed with Swissvax leather milk.
And now for a shower followed closely by a beer

WOW! Dave has really done a good job on the Mondy
Bought it couple of months ago for just £2k. Ghia X, 2001, with just 58000mls. Supllied and serviced its entire life at supplying Ford main dealer. So a good find ... however it has lived all is life in London being owned by a Dep Headmistress - so I am thinking school run (literally) and blue rinse shopping trips [no stereotyping there then ], but it had 8 years of inner city gunk stuck to the paintwork. Dave is not joking when he said it felt like sandpaper
Anyway, he has worked his magic and its looks great now, with lovely smooth surface. Cant believe the difference - feels so smooth
Got a couple of pics - not brill, as light was fading when I got home..
Nice bit of autumn colour reflection..
Thanks very much for doubling the value of the mota Dave
Cheers,
Robo

Looking good Dave have cars like that to do daily in my works
I couldn't do that everyday I'd have arms like PopeyeReckon you've done a good job there mate. Almost as good as the Polish hand car wash at Asda.
Definitely possible to do a full detail including a machine polish on a vxr8 in a single day (using two people) but the shorter days don't help much. I find having a little cry at the end of a job helps with the pain Big cars are always fun
