Big smash on the M5?

Between Gloucester A38 junction and the A417(? sorry, I've only been round these parts a few months and rarely use the M5) junction heading northbound, it looked like quite a serious incident. I was coming the other way so didn't want to rubberneck, but there were 3 fire engines and several BiB knocking around. Does anybody know what happened?
