Cheers Mike however I would rather pay the fine than yours fella!!! And i'm only talking to you as long as you don't sell your carsmile

Robo at least when you told me it was checking for tax etc I relaxed for the day... so i'll forgive you hehe

As for the bridge "as it reads"

"M4 (E/BOUND) BET JCT 17&16, (nr Sutton Benger), NR MP 149/(we are wkers) and we had you all though there were no other cars on the road and you were even in the slow lane"

Nearly vented all my anger... Stella is now in the fridge chilling

What's the date on the NIP? The ANPR unit was on the bridge I think the week before last.

However the camera partnership van does sit on that bridge an awful lot.

Steve, don't you get the option to go to the driving school for naughty boys for the day and £ penalty instead of points??

Thats sad news Foundy frown

Me Dad had to go along to one of those driving schools because he got caught by a camera doing 35mph in a 30mph zone. He had loads of fun because most of the drivers there were complaining about slow old farts driving on the road.

He's 87 smokin

The bridge is the 1st one east of J17 for Chippenham (about a mile on). Its one of the scamera van's favourites as they'll nick you coming down the hill. It used to be obvious 'cos you could see the van from 1/2 mile away, but they now hide the van off the bridge and put the cameras on the bridge on tripods. They're at it 7 days a week and can start very early. ALWAYS keep your speed down as you pass by. Their second favourite is the bridge just east of J18, so treat that with care as well.

6 points is a bit steep isn't it for a NIP?

Surely there is the option of the speed awareness course that Wilts Police/Camera Partnership now partake in.
