Hotels/pubs in the South West

Right a few mates meet up just before christmas ever year for a meal and get togeather, all the guys are members on here.

Last year was the first year we all stayed in the hotel/pub overnight instead of drinking coke.

We have stayed in the waterloo cross in Cullompton

So we thought about having a change, so can anyone suggest a good pub/hotel to eat and sleep in the Tiverton and surrounding area

The Twyford Inn is fairly decent - youngish crowd, good selection of beers and ales. Not sure about local hotels.
