Bournemouth to Bognor

Hi all, GF has just gone back up to Chichester for uni so this means there's now a fair bit of travelling if I want to see her. Hour up the road not to bad but just travelling along the motorway is very monotonousness and dangerous (blooming scamera vans; side not in a second) Just wondering is there a more fun way I can take? Even if it takes me a lil bit longer to get there.

I was driving up Sunday to Bognor with the GF, Asked her kindly to keep an eye out with unmarked BIB. She did a pretty good job until we where getting close to the Southampton airport where all the bridges are. Well I was going about 86? when I noticed a car sat on one of the bridges. Before it clicked I was insight of a normal? Ford Focus police car sat on bridge. I couldn't see anyone in the car or anything pointing out but the passenger side window was open. What is the likely chances I've been clocked?
