Places to 'test' my car near Bristol?

Does anybody know of anywhere near Bristol to 'test' my car. I don't mean hooning it round doing doughnuts and the like. Just somewhere safe and open that I can 'make sure everything's working after I've tinkered/fixed it'.

Ideally I'd be looking for an unlocked large car park/lorry park. Any ideas? I don't want to cause trouble or anything (just thought I'd best clarify that!), it's just not safe or responsible to test on the road.

What the hell do you drive? A veyron?

Im sure any twisty roads late at night would be fine for testing purposes, why would you need to "test" above 60mph? If you do need to test above that you should book a track day.

Llandow circuit in South Wales. Very short drive from Bristol - we test there regularly.
Very cheap, pretty challenging little track, very friendly people, totally safe :-)
