Castle Combe Sept 5th
Discussion
I should be easy to spot, dark metallic grey car with a bright green sunstrip and wing mirrors.
Took it out of the garage last night and it came to life on the first turn of the key, only got this weekend to check it over as Im away surfing over bank holiday then its the weekend after.
Dave, you can pitch up with us if you want, we'll have tools, jacks, axle stands, pumps, tyre pressure gauges etc and most importantly a massive awning if the weather turns nasty!
Out pitch is H5 & H6 if you look at the map in this link, we'll have a big Bristol Motor Club Banner up and a red awning: http://www.castlecombecircuit.co.uk/documents/09ac...

If it rains I will be spinning like a top!Its going to be a lovely day.
It's a bit twitchy in the wet with the (fairly new) lsd. Although that's kind of a good thing, depending on how you look at it
Will certainly be interesting if it rains, I can cope with a bit of provoked oversteer on a roundabout but driving a wet track will be a new one for me.
I'll PM you my number at some point Matt
These days really are poor value for money. You'll pay upwards of £25 for 15 minutes out on track with an assortment of nutters and far too many on track at the same time. I'm going up on 8th, I will be there at 9am and can drive until 5pm in 20 minutes sessions with 15 on track max. £100 all in.
Please take care if you're going out on track. I've seen some properly wrecked cars, all caused by idiots pushing their luck.

I didn't know there were different groups, booked mine yesterday and they didn't mention it on the phone, oh well.
Sorted out my video camera mount, riveted a small table leg to the parcel shelf lol.
Thats top bodgery! Beats my bit of velcro on the dash for the bullet cam.Sorted out my video camera mount, riveted a small table leg to the parcel shelf lol.
The booking form I used had 'New to track', 'Intermediate' and 'Advanced', dont know how true that is though as there are 4 sessions per hour and you've got a session at the same time as me without even mentioning groupings, oh well.
