I've used Clayton for both my E34s. Very happy with them.
Beemer Redeemer no longer offering service work as far as I know.
There's also one in Fishponds but can't recall the name. I know someone who is happy using them for his E39.
The one in Fishponds is called Wheelbase excellent work on my parners BMW and really reasonably priced, with ex BMW technicians i believe.Beemer Redeemer no longer offering service work as far as I know.

Have used Clayton cars before for my old E36s the E46 and recently the 540 touring....very good and 1st class service BUT prices seem astronomical...they quoted over what a dealer quoted for a service.
Have spoken to Scott in Nailsea...didn't use him as IMO his knowledge of E39 engines and the what each service consisted of wasn't great.
If you fancy a trek out then grants of Wellington have always been very good with all of the beemers I've taken there.
