WSM/Bristol/Taunton meet up for Rally to Raleigh Rally?

Hi all,

OK, its getting VERY close now

Various meet ups have been suggested, but how about meeting up at Taunton (so all those coming from Bristol/WSM/Etc?) for the rest of the run Sherborne

Anyone suggest a meeting place?

Suggest meeting at 915 if thats good with everyone

I can get to Gordano for about 09.30 if thats any good?? Will have to try to stay off the Stella Sat night

BTW cheers for the car comment Apples.... had a choice a couple of years ago... engagement/marriage or car, drinking (not at same time) and happiness and you know which won

was planning several stops/meet ups

So Bristol folks could meet you at Gordano, could then have another meet at WSM Morrisons car park before heading down to meet others at Taunton if someone can come up with a suitable meet point there?

(possibly Sainsburys car park, the one at the Odeon park just off the M5 junction?)

probably best in the blackbrook pub car park, for the meet in taunton, just off the m5 and you are heading on the right road as well, let me know which ever way, sainsburys or otherwise

yep,on the left before where the "burger van" layby on the right used to be, now construction works going on there for a park and ride.

i dont know, wont be there long, i think a lot of people use it for a meeting place, or as you go towards yeovil onto the dual carrageway, out of a 30mph past speed scamera on the right, up the hill pas trafic lights, down the hill there is a big layby on the left with a little tea/burger van, meet there if you want?

ok, I'll be there, I'll introduce myself, Allen, and I will be in a topaz blue M3, maybe bringing a mate as well.

There is 3 areas of car parking at the pub, 1 is to the left as you come in. 2 is as you turn in continue past the pub frontage. 3 is continue straight on past 1 and around the back, thats the one I shall be in, seems to be a usual meet place

Yes, pretty much. If you look at the link top of main page for s.w.ph. Dot your car and name plus which days down and print off your reduced entry form for the Castle -Happy days!!! ps if you turn up in a corsa with silly lights etc it may get burnt!!!oj

WSM meet sounds good.

Autoroute says its going to take 90mins to get from WSM to Sherbourne (keeping strictly to the speed limits of course ) so suggest we meet in Morrisons car park and leave no later than 8.45am. Will give us plenty of time to get to Taunton and meet the rest there at 0930, then set off for the castle .
