Raleigh Rally - 21st June - Swindon convoy

I'm going from Calne, plus another Chim.

Brill - thinking we'll likely meet up at Junction 16 to set off from, we can take one of 3 routes (one of which goes past Calne)

Either go up to Junction 17, down past Melksham, Westbury, etc...

or

Go past Wootton Bassett, Calne, Melksham, Westbury, etc...

or

Go past Avebury, Devizes, Westbury, etc...


Now, one of the latter 2 would be my choice, however Junction 17 does run straight past Fidgits.

How about if we meet up at the garage on the outskirts of Warminster, the one with the Little Chef and Burger King at such and such time. I ( in the Griff) and David (in the Chim) will set off from Calne. i will get back to you with a time next week when I speak to David.

I did try to think of a way we could have a TV at the event, but there's probably a thousand reasons why we can't other than finding a TV, transportation, power and the weather.

Marz, I can meet you and your buddy in Calne, as I'm going to go straight past there now Fidgits isn't coming - Fancy it?

aclasslimos - I'm going down the A350, which goes straight past Trowbridge. Do you want to suggest somewhere on the A350 we could meet you?

It's a 10.30am meet, so if we plan to get there for just before then, I'll leave Swindon at 8.15, I'll be in Calne at 8.45, then in Trowbridge at 9.15, then carry on down to Sherborne. What do you think?

Not a great lot of help as I am teaming up with a Chim and due to circumstances not sure what time we will be leaving, therefore if any of you should meet at the services at Warminster, please don't wait for us. If we see you there we will join in. Otherwise see you at Sherborne.
