I've spent a bit of time working in the Poole area and was wondering if it was worth turning up for one of these? Seems like every time I've been there it's been in the winter months.

Two seater open top thingy sounds good, but what's it like? Could be a, "chav magnet" me thinks.

Do you mean "Quay for my car"? The static car show on Poole Quay.
Yes, it's worth a look in if you're about. There are some fun cars, but not much in the way of exotica.
Makes for a nice evening to grab a beer and/or a portion of chips and peruse the cars.
Google it for a list of dates / themes.

You might also like to pop over to the BIC on a Sunday afternoon. Around 5pm IIRC they have a classic car show on a similar vein. Turn up with anything produced on or before 1983 and you get in. I used to take the Turbo Esprit, great afternoon out, park for £1 on the beach, car show and an icecream, luuuuverly. They get a mix of everything from rusty Mark IV Cortinas, through 50's American classics to a Bently blower.
