Hola chaps & chapettes!

I've recently had the thought of visiting St Micheals Mount on my mind for quite some time...Particularly seduced by the coverage shown on "Martin Clunes - Islands of Britain" where the Mount looked just incredible in the evening light.

I've vowed to visit this year & was wondering when is the best time of year to visit? I'm hoping I won't be swamped with other tourists so one can take in the gorgeous sight that is the area around the Mount without bumping into folk & being able to take pictures without fear of someone walking into shot hehe & of course to bask in a gorgeous sunset after a long hard drive in the '5.

Thanks in advance! thumbup

Avoid mid-summer, place is full of emits (holiday makers). Some friends of ours own a house overlooking the Mount, I’ve stayed there, its very nice sleeps 4/6. Make a break of it. If you want the details let me know!

That sounds so perfect...It'll likely to be just m & maybe a friend so we won't take up the whole place hehe

Thinking of going either August/Sept/October at the mo...I imagine that's the ideal time to go, still gorgeous weather but away from the peak time?

Would really appreciate the details, cheers thumbup
