Geneva Motor Show 2009

The Geneva Motor Show is running from the 5th to 15th March 2009.

I know there is a Credit Crunch on so was thinking of going just for the day. Sub £100 return flights available from Bristol Airport at the moment for Saturday 7th March? Really good event. Any takers?

If you haven't been before, it is well worth the trip. A motor show, with plenty of "show" and not just an exhibition. Loads of new car launches - world & european premieres. Space to move and a 10 minute undercover walk from arrivals in the airport. I am thinking about going but may drive - the roads in the French Jura 30 minutes north of Geneva are sensational albeit quite snowy at the moment (I returned from the area yesterday).

Allow plenty of time (you can't do it justice in 2 or 3 hours) so it may be worth going at the weekend when you can Easyjet in early and catch the last flight back. Go for it!

I've got a Maserati invitation for their stand if you like, just have to pretend to be me....

Having been to Geneva recently to sort out some business stuff, I can say you can probably have a trip to Geneva, OR a new car, but probably not both!

It's wickedly expensive, be warned.
