You could always invade the Midlands after a blast up the M5.... http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

Long way for a Bacon buttie though unless you want to see the RAF/Coldwar Museum as well.

I sent them a message on Friday (via the link on the CC website) reminding them of the popularity of last year's event.....maybe if enough PH-ers do likewise, they might get something going.

I've got it written in this years calendar for Sunday 7th June. I can't find it on the Castle Combe circuit website any more?

I must have got the date from somewhere, I wouldn"t have made it up.

I sometimes drive up to Kemble for a weekend brekkie. The roads (A46 & A433) are good for a blast and the cafe at the airfield is very good. If the sun's out you can eat al-fresco and watch the planes. The weather looks OK this weekend, so I'll probably go - anybody want to join me?

Is that AV8 or something? Went there last year with PHers and C3C TVRCC - very nice. I'm hoping to make the Wilts run this Sunday though so won't be able to join you.

I'm up for this. Will need a reminder nearer the time though... Where are the details on the website? Can't find anything.

I presume it's still the same, which from the other post looks like £1 to enter, then breakfast?
