Bristol traffic this morning

Anyone any idea what was going on? The M32 northbound was rammed and every where else was slow.

Were they setting out the roadworks on the M32 North? It was down to 1 lane from Filton to the M4 by about 2:30pm.

Noticed that too - M32 at 0710 ish. Cheltenham and Gloucester were just as bad. Took me 45 mins from Gloucester to Cheltenham hospital, partly because of no obvious transport strategy in either town but also sheer weight of hesitant tts. Moved one out of the way by heavy use of horn eventually. .

I wasn't sure if it wasn't just that, although the M32 was solid heading north back to junction 4 (IIRC - the one south of Ikea). Roadworks makes sense.
