I know there has been alot of ice on the roads lately, but I think the council have gone a bit OTT with the salt on the roads. I heard that the tarmac on the M32 is corroding in places because of to much salt confused.

That was what they first said. Then they changed their story to the old classic 'drivers were just going to fast'

As Steve Yabsley said on the radio, 'if salt causes concrete to corrode, why don’t chips corrode?!

Also if its 0 degrees outside & freezing, if tomorrow is going to be twice as cold, what temperature will it be? confused

I'm guessing it would be -137c, you need to convert it to the Kelvin scale.

A chip isn't made of metal or tarmac

It has seemed a little excessive. I've been cleaning my windscreen every few miles on the M4/M32 this last week! Brilliant when i took the E28 out instead and one of the wipers fell off just before Chippenham on the way to Swindon!!!
