Bristol to Exmouth 9th Jan Traffic

Right I'm going to a BKS leathers in Exmouth this Friday. just wondering about traffic on a Friday morning. i need to get there for 10AM so leaving at 8 should be ample of time?
I live about 5 mins from Keynsham so was either going via chew vally lakes to Churchill then on the motorway or bristol onto the M32 then M4/M5. whats my best bet for missing any traffic

Avoid the section from Jct 30 to Exmouth! Don't have any advice for the Bristol end, but two hours should be ample. Be wary of Jct 27 Tiverton and 28 Cullompton as favourites for the local bib to sit and wait.

Getting into Exmouth will be relatively easy. Getting out on a Friday lunchtime when the Marines Training Centre depart is a different matter.....

Fill your scooshers up. The M5 is howlingly filthy today.

was not bad today in the end. left Brizzel at 7:30 and got to BKs by the sea front of exmouth at 9:30am.
not to bad on the way home and stopped for lunch. got back about 2PM.

so not bad and managed to get out of Bristol by almost 8AM
