Think I saw this one in Swindon once, it was certainly a Cosworth escort, and in immaculate condition. I also have seen in Calne an XR3 (pre injection) in mint condition. Brought back many memories as I owned an XR2 Mk2 (B reg) in the 80's. Still nice to see these cars about on the road.

always like my fords but never owned myself and fast fords.
Always wanted a RS2000. nice classic. I know a chap who's got a Mk2 escort, looks slow until you see under the bonnet. i'll just say he makes his living building engines and at the mo race engines for Subaru race teams.

Based in or around Plymouth perchance? Can't think of any other engine builders in the area off the top of my head.

I used to belong to that club about 10 year ago. Good crowd at the time, then some knob elected himself to run the Somerset branch and it went down hill,so i left, dare say its better now tho.
