Lets get a date sorted pronto (As ifrofl) As Daz suggested on the November thread Old India seems like a good venue.party

Ref Venue. With proximity to christmas I think we may need to book in advance?

Ref date. Let's start week commencing 15th December.

I'm clear most nights.

We had a really, really hard decision to make: cold wet UK or somewhere hot and sunny....

After lots of due consideration of.... um.... less than a second, Sidney harbour for New Year won that one biggrin

We will be back at some point next year though!

I'll be interested to hear your opinions on that restaurant.

Went to Old India last night. Service was good, very friendly and helpful but not in your face or constantly hanging around. Menu is a little limited but the food itself was great. About 50p per dish more than most other places but worth it. I had Lamb Dal Ki Tak (Yellow lentils) and colleague went for Chicken Bhuna. Both meats were very good - tender and lots of flavour. Popadoms x 4, 2 mains, 2 sides, 1 rice and 4 pints of Cobra was £47 including 10% which is added automatically but I think they deserved it. Would definitely go back based on last night. I reckon booking might be a good idea is it was pretty busy last night.

yes

To really have fun on this website it's best to take the plunge and see just who the lunatics are you spend most of the working day gassing with.

This close to christmas we need to know exactly who is coming along so that we can book a table at a restaurant.

The plan.

7.30pm City centre pub. Followed by city centre curry at about 8.45. Old India or somewhere else if we can't get in. Please copy the bit below and add your name:

The definitely attending the curry restaurant list.
