It's looking likely that I'll have to start using the M5 again during rush hour to go to/from Bristol from the south leaving/joining at J18. How bad is it these days with the roadworks?
Came through yesterday at 5:30pm. The worst bit heading south is from Almondsbury / Cribbs (J16/J17) before the bridge, but only took 20mins to get through it. Once you're past J19 at Gordano it starts flowing again.
h. Takes about half an hour to cover the sliproad. Once you're on the motorway itself its OK.
