Bristol Pro Car Meeting

There will be a Pro Car Meeting at the North Bristol Rugby Club (A38/M5 Almondsbury)on the 26th November 2008 7:30pm.
Purpose of the meeting is to push back against the local Anti Car Councils.

If it includes removing superfluous roundabouts (mini and otherwise), traffic lights and ridiculous speed restrictions on previously NSL sections then I'm all for it. Count me in.

Well that was a bit of an anti-climax. It didn't help that they chose an obscure venue at the end of an unlit track and didn't bother with any signage.

Even so I would have hoped for more than a single-figure attendance - I suspect when the council get wind of it they'll take the lack opposition as a mandate for more of the same.

So, when the council fk up your local junction with unnecessary traffic lights and a redundant bus lane it'll be no good saying 'someone should stop this', because nobody cares.
