Sorry for the garbled post- I don't know Bristol that well (hence my rather long discription of the area)

My Cousin was staying in Bristol over Saturday night & came out to find his CTR sporting a modified front end in the morning.

It's literally only 3 weeks old & he is absoloutely gutted.

He has one witness, who only managed to catch part of the Landrovers registration number.
Apparantly, he backed into it in a Landrover (with tow bar) & drove off.mad

The chap did say he used the cashpoint- so he is hoping the police could trace him through that.

It happened up the hill from the Peugeot garage- up by the Shopping Mall hehepaperbag

The police only seem interested in handing him a crime stoppers number & not tracking down the offender.

This type of ballbag behaviour seems to be happening quite alot recently,

So far, this year...

My Brother gets his bonnet damaged in Waitrose Car Park
Mine gets a scratch in the Travis Perkins Car Park, a scuff in the side from another Car Park
& damage to my rear bumper while parked up again.
My old man gets cut up on a roundabout- then blamed for it later by the boys mum!

FFS, own up you s!

As soona s I saw that pic I thought "Towbar!"

Bad news but if enoough effort is put into findiing out who did it, you should be fine. Insist that the police speak to the bank about who used the cashpoint. Dont know if that will help.

I've given up with mine now, my rear bumper has numerous scratches, dents and gouges from car park maladies - all I can assume is that because its black and lower than normal cars, people don't see it and hit it.

Luckily its only worth the square root of feck all now, so I don't worry so much.

Sorry to see that damage though - that's criminal at best!

Spoke to my cousin yesterday & from what he has said, the Police don't really seem all that interested in catching the chap/chapette who done this.

Was probably not insured anyway...

Still, at least my cousin is 250 quid lighter & lost his no claims.
What it is to be a law abiding citizen eh?

Sorry to hear that mate. Maybe you ought to tell them he was doing 32mph as he drove off?

When I had a hit on run on my previous car, the police did track the culprit down, and after a few weeks I recieved a letter with the hit and run drivers insurance company and policy number, never knew who the person was or their address. Which is probably a good thing biggrin

In the Bradley Stoke leisure centre car park yesterday afternoon & there was a car stationary waiting for this other car to pul out of a space .This woman in a huge Quad cab pickup thing came around & ran right into him ,she must have been going about 20mph & what amess. She claimed she could'nt see him as he was low, but then she was high up so how did she not see him?/Could have been very nasty as the childrens group had just finished
